Nice is a city in the south of France located on the Mediterranean coast and is a major tourist centre. It is a leading resort on the French Riviera and was founded by the Greeks.

Places of interest include the Promenade des Anglais (the street running along the edge of the water), with strong nightlife and nice views, the Château, the Monuments aux Morts, the port, the Marché aux Fleurs (the flower market which runs every day of the week selling the best produce of the area), Old Nice and the Grand Hôtel Impérial.
